    I have to say I was very surprised about how small the book was for $20. Most of the stuff came directly from Twitter Bootstraps examples. Not a lot of meat here folks.

    The book has nothing new about BootStrap. You can pretty much find all the information on BootStrap’s website or online. There was nothing spectacular in the book! The real value can be $0.99.

    Hi all. The author here. I understand the concerns some of you have expressed. The book is designed for beginners, including those with little to no experience with HTML/CSS. It is an unapologetically dirt-simple, step-by-step walk-through, from downloading the files to creating a basic site building on Bootstrap’s default styles.

    Yes, these are very basic goals. Those who are comfortable sorting through the documentation would probably prefer that. Yet, as some reviewers have indicated, some find it helpful to have a hand-held step-by-step walk through the basics. For these readers, once the book’s exercises are accomplished, returning to the documentation and folding in one’s own customizations become much easier.

    So prospective buyers: If you’d like a very basic, step-by-step introduction, this is it. If not, then you’ll want to wait on one of the next books that are in the works. They’re coming! (I’ve got insider knowledge on one of them.)
