I have read about ten books on the subject of WordPress as a newbie to this site. I do have some blogging experience from blogspot which is OK but I want to improve it, especially from the photography standpoint.

The big problem with WordPress.org is there are so many possibilities that it seems endless. Here is where the Ed Jones book come in. In my opinion, this is the book to own. Thorough, well-written, easy to understand, and lots of suggestions. If I had one book to buy for WordPress, this is it. I strongly recommend it for people starting out in the WordPress world.

This book was actually easy to understand! I consider myself somewhat tech retarded. I’m 55 years old and computer is definitely a second language to me. This book put the tech in perspective. I will order other tech books from this author as I need them. Most books like this one are written for people who understand what they are doing and the book is just the icing on the cake, but not really the cake. This book is the basics without being boring. There is a plethora of information here, but it is well organized so if you want more advanced, you can find it, but you won’t be buried in “hard stuff” if you just want the basics. For me, the second chapter alone is worth the 99cent price tag. So here’s my website/websites. I am so excited. Not bad for a first timer![…] and another one, […] I even figured out how to insert several sub domains. I am so pumped. Best 99 cents ever spent.

good book, it is a nice easy book to understand and read definitely worth checking out when you have the chance
